This page explains how to delete your account and data for Vacaylo - CountryTracker ("Vacaylo"), the app by MuffinLine for logging the countries you have visited. It applies to the iPhone and Android apps.

Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Vacaylo and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap About & help, then Delete account.
  3. Read the warning, type DELETE to confirm, and tap "Permanently delete my account".

Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. You need an internet connection. If the app is offline, nothing is deleted and you can try again.

Delete your account without the app

If you can't open the app, for example because you uninstalled it or lost your phone, email pizzadyche@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account".

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we erase:

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing else is kept. We don't keep a copy of your travel log, photos or profile after deletion.

Purchases and subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, otherwise the store may keep charging you. Purchases are not refunded automatically.

Delete only your travel data

If you want to remove your trips and other travel data but keep your account and username, use Profile → Data & sync → Delete all data in the app. This does not delete your account.

Export your data first

Before you delete, you can export your visits, country marks, trip tags, airlines and settings as a CSV or JSON file in the app, at Profile → Data & sync → Export. Your photos stay in your own photo library.
